Healthcare in an America is evolving at a rapid pace. Hospital systems, clinicians and even patients often gravitate to what’s newest and shiniest. But it’s important to remember that, in our industry especially, the best innovations begin with old-fashioned empathy for the patients, families and communities we serve daily. It’s the foundation of everything we do, and every step forward we take to make a difference in the world around us.  Sometimes, that empathy can be tested.
